My films begin where words stop —
in dreams, in shadow, in things without form.
I am a director and filmmaker. I capture the disorientation on the borderline of sleep and awakening. I shape moving images where safe reality ends and something nameless begins.
My Cinematic Journey
My work is a constant exploration within avant-garde and experimental cinema. My project "KHLYST" was presented at the Cannes festival, and my subsequent productions regularly gain international recognition. I am an Award Winner at festivals in Bangkok, Amsterdam, and Seoul. My films have been part of official selections and screened to audiences in Tokyo, Melbourne, Barcelona, Rome, Yerevan, and many other places around the world.
My Creative Philosophy
I am inspired by the moment of waking up, when perception is still blurred and the mind collides with dark, atonal soundscapes. I am drawn to a raw aesthetic, to what is hidden in the shadows, to formless things that can stop time: the rough texture of analog grain, an unsettling sound, or sometimes simply the shape of a tree outside the window.
In my work, questions carry much more weight than answers – especially those that evade rational logic and stay with us the longest after we open our eyes.
